It doesn’t have to be BIG to be important.

Our brains can be very tricky and try to convince us that something has to be Very Big in order to be Very Important.

If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. Go big or go home. It’s an ingrained part of how we think and it’s also a trap.

Don’t fall for the trick of aiming for big sweeping goals that aren’t actually sustainable. Real progress usually comes from with small, sustainable changes.

When we can figure out how to work with and around the brain’s tendency to get pulled into flashy BHAGs (big hairy audacious goals) instead of sensible, doable mini goals, that’s when the real change usually happens.
